The people have spoken! Online shopping is the way to go and never more so in the middle of a pandemic. The idea of standing in long lines and looking for a specific misplaced item in a store seems so overrated nowadays. I started using Rakuten before it became Rakuten. Rakuten was once known as Ebates. Despite the name change, the perks are relatively the same and used by me and many frequently. With all the online orders you are placing, why not get some of your hard earned money back.

What is Rakuten?

Rakuten is a website where you can get Cash Back for shopping. There are over 2,500 stores that they are linked to where you can earn your money back with. Target, Sephora, Nike, Adidas, Tarth, Aldo and Saks Fifth Avenue, just to name a few. The best part of it all is becoming a member comes at an unbeatable deal of $0! You will receive a payment every three months, plus earn a cash bonus when you join and shop.

Where does the money come from?

Rakuten gets a commission from all the stores affiliated with them. So when you make a purchase at a store they are affiliated with, instead of keeping the entire commission, Rakuten shares a portion of it with all their members.

How to use the website?

1. Find the store you want to shop at on rakuten.com.

2, click “Shop Now” and shop like normal on the store website.

3. After you make a purchase, you’ll earn Cash Back and get a check or PayPal payment every 3 months.
